One factory, three regions, and a delivery schedule that holds

Midmak began with a single rolling line in Riyadh. Today we melt, roll, cut, bend and weld on one site, then distribute from Dammam and Jeddah, so every bar is traceable from heat to site.

From scrap to a tagged bundle

Every stage under one roof, and every bundle carries its heat number. If a consultant asks about a bar, we can show its test results in minutes.

Molten steel being tapped in the melt shop amid sparks
  1. Melting

Local scrap melted in a 90-tonne electric arc furnace, heat by heat.

  2. Continuous casting

150 × 150 mm billets, each stamped with its heat number.

  3. Hot rolling

An 18-stand rolling mill with quench cooling to reach B500B strength.

  4. Cut, bend and weld

Automatic cut and bend to bar schedules, and a mesh welder up to 3.2 m wide.

  5. Test and dispatch

Tensile and bend tests on every lot, with a mill certificate on every bundle.

In-house lab

Tensile, bend and spectrometer chemistry on every heat, with instruments calibrated twice a year.

Full traceability

A tag on each bundle links the heat number to the sales order and mill certificate.

Cut and bend to schedule

Send your bar-bending schedule; bars arrive labelled by structural element.

Steel made from steel

Our electric arc furnace recycles scrap instead of mining ore. Each year we measure the energy and water we use and publish our 2030 targets.

92%

Recycled scrap in the melt

of melt-shop feed today; the 2030 target is 97%.

2030 target: 97%

35%

2030 target: 98%

Coiled rebar ready for dispatch

Large shipments come with a recycled-content statement that helps developers with green-building submissions. We ask scrap suppliers for origin documents, and sell furnace slag to road builders instead of landfilling it.

Work where the country's steel is made

More than 70% of our team is Saudi, and half of our shift engineers started in the graduate programme. On-the-job training, housing near the plant and family medical cover.

Quotes are signed in the portal

Sales sends the quote from Odoo; the customer signs online and it becomes a sales order.

  3. 3 / 4

    Production and delivery from stock

Stock is reserved or a manufacturing order released, with mill certificates on each delivery.

  4. 4 / 4

    ZATCA invoice and statement

Invoices are cleared electronically and appear in the portal with the statement and overdue balance.
